So, I did receive my Nokia Lumia 920 Black edition today from the Nokia Priority which I had booked yesterday after cancelling my order with Flipkart. The total cost of the phone is 35999 INR which is approximately 650 USD. I wasn't very impressed with the package as it looked very ordinary. Nokia N8 had a good looking sales package. Anyways, the Nokia Lumia 920 is a majestic phone and the feeling of holding the phone is pretty amazing. It really kicks iPhone's **s.
I had to cut my standard sim to a micro sim. For this I had already bought a Micro Sim Cutter from Ebay. Although the Nokia Priority too offered to cut it for me for free but I wanted to do it myself. Micro Sim is not available with all the network operators in India so cutting the sim is your best option rather than running around the respective operator's service shops. However, it is very easy to cut the sim using the Micro Sim Cutter if you follow the instructions/signs correctly and takes a few seconds and you are good to go. The modified sim fits well in the sim tray of the phone if you have cut using a Micro Sim Cutter. So I am finally ready to explore the phone starting tomorrow.
