The famous android application 'Talking Tom Cat' is now available on Windows Phone Store free of cost. The application works great as far as the core functionality is concerned. However, the application is still in its basic version which means the video recording of the cat speaking while repeating your words is not possible. When you push the recorder button, it just saves the screenshot in the gallery. All the other actions of the application like irritating the cat, making it fart, making it purr, slapping it, making it drink milk, etc seem to work great.
This version seems more like an experimental version ported from android to WP8 as it also does not have any online functions like, dressing the cat, buying other app articles, etc. However, the overall sensitivity and response of the Cat is better than what it is on Android when it comes to listening and repeating your words. I was able to play a song and have the cat repeat it. I found no audio loss or any delay. I am not sure if this because of the Lumia 920's excellent hardware. I am eagerly waiting all the other versions of this app as soon as it becomes available Nokia Lumia 920 and other Lumia phones.
